Dr. EliranMor, MD – Medical Director of the California Center for Reproductive Health

EliranMor, MD, is an upstanding reproductive endocrinologist and is the Medical Director of the California Center for Reproductive Health. Dr. Mor first became a California-licensed medical professional in 2001. He received his medical degree from the University of Tel Aviv-Sackler College of Medicine. He then completed a four-year residency in obstetrics and gynecology at the New York Methodist Hospital in Brooklyn, New York, before completing a three-year fellowship in reproductive endocrinology and infertility at the University of Southern California.

Dr. Mor is board-certified in obstetrics and gynecology and reproductive endocrinology and infertility by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. He is also a member in excellent standing of many different prestigious medical organizations including the American Society of Reproductive Medicine (ASRM), the Pacific Coast Reproductive Society (PCRS), the Society of Laparoendoscopic Surgeons (SLS), and the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG). EliranMor, MD is also a clinical instructor at the University of Southern California.

Considered a true “patient’s doctor” by his colleagues and patients, Dr. Mor was named a Most Compassionate Doctor by the American Registry. He works closely with his patients and their families to provide the information they need to make informed decisions about their treatment and care. He conducts all consultations, after-hour inquiries, pelvic examinations, ultrasound examinations, diagnostic procedures, assisted reproductive procedures (egg retrievals, embryo transfers…), and surgical procedures if needed. Involvement in every aspect of a patient’s fertility care and complete micromanagement of their treatment makes Dr. Mor their perfect partner.

As part of his commitment to lifelong learning and research, Dr. Mor tries to attend at least two in-person medical conferences or association meetings every year. Dr. Mor takes these opportunities to meet with and learn from his peers about the latest treatment options available in the field of reproductive endocrinology and infertility. He is committed to only bringing in treatments to the California Center for Reproductive Health that have been validated and tested.

Dr. Mor has also continued his research and has published over a dozen papers in peer-reviewed journals and abstracts which he has presented at national and international medical conferences. His areas of research interest and expertise include polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS); emergency contraception; neuroendocrinology; insulin resistance; male factor infertility; donor sperm insemination; tubal factor infertility; IVF stimulation protocols; congenital uterine anomalies; tubal gamete/embryo transfer (GIFT/ZIFT/TET); pregnancy at advanced reproductive age; and hormone replacement therapy (HRT). Dr. Mor’s research has also been published in prestigious journals such as the Journal of the American Medical Association (JAMA), Fertility and Sterility, Obstetrics & Gynecology, and Journal of Assisted Reproduction and Genetics.

EliranMor, MD has presented abstracts on a variety of related topics. Dr. Mor’s abstract entitled, “Insulin resistance in polycystic ovary syndrome: Clinical implications of fasting glucose and insulin levels” was awarded the Frank Lynch Memorial Essay Award. It was presented at the 70th Annual Meeting of the Pacific Coast Obstetrical and Gynecological Society, September 16-21, 2003 in Anchorage, Alaska. Another of his abstracts entitled, “Defective autophosphorylation of the insulin receptor (APIR): A potential mechanism of insulin resistance in polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS)” was presented at the 59th Annual Meeting of the American Society for Reproductive Medicine, October 11-15, 2003 in San Antonio, Texas. This abstract was presented with the Society for Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility Fellowship Research Prize Paper Award.

The California Center for Reproductive Health has three offices located in Southern California: Encino, West Hollywood, and Valencia, where Dr. Mor and his staff are ready to welcome new and returning patients.
